Meet Fran

Fran has served as a State Representative from the Dunwoody and North DeKalb areas since 1998.

Fran is one of the most active members of the legislature on topics ranging from tax reform to accountability in our school system. As a member of the Special Committee on Small Business Development he has concentrated on incentives for job creation and workforce development. He has been effective as a spokesperson for taxpayers and children alike. In 2010, he received the Advocacy Award from the organization All About Developmental Disabilities at the Heart of Gold Annual Awards Celebration.

His nearly 40 years in the insurance industry has given him the opportunity to work with companies in numerous industries. He and his wife, Mary, have three children and seven grandchildren and are active members of the Dunwoody United Methodist Church. He still continues to serve on the Dunwoody Homeowners board of directors and in the local education arena is active with the Dunwoody-Chamblee Parents Council.
